Join us for a concert featuring a local family band playing bluegrass music!
This BONUS TRACK concert is happening at a special day (Tuesday evening) out in the community (at Decatur Branch). Get psyched up by listening to the Brown Grass Band on their YouTube channel, or check out this list of books and music available through the library: Bluegrass in Indy.
Bonus Track Concerts are made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
Decatur was the first township outside of Center Township to receive a branch library when the Marwood Branch opened in 1967 in a storefront location. Strong library usage throughout the township demonstrated the need for a new 11,300-square-foot branch that opened on Kentucky Avenue in 1990 as the Decatur Branch and continues to serve the community today.
