Join us for the Indianapolis Modern Quilt Guild Exhibit June 4 to June 30, 2024 in the Simon Reading Room at Central Library. This exhibit is a continuation of a larger Indianapolis Modern Quilt Guild exhibit in May 2024 at Garfield Park Arts Center.
The Indianapolis Modern Quilt Guild (IMQG) is a part of the The Modern Quilt Guild worldwide network. We started in 2010 as a small group of modern sewists looking to connect and create together. Since that time our group has grown in size because we welcome new members each year. Our group is made up of people of many ages, skill levels, and sewing/quilting backgrounds.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
