Join Amy for chair-based yoga every other week to practice your breathing techniques, and improve your heart rate, mental focus, and relaxation.
Chair yoga is a relaxation that also energizes body and mind by connecting breath to stretches and gentle movements. This activity improves posture, flexibility, balance, strength, and mind/body awareness. It helps to promote more steadiness and confidence in one’s body along with an overall sense of well-being and peace. We will have intermittent meditative music to accompany the class and close with a brief meditation.
This program is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
