Registration is requested due to limited capacity.

The Polis Center has been developing reports and tools to help better understand the complexities of racial disparities as well as the cradle-to-prison pipeline in Indianapolis. On August 22 at 6 p.m., Polis Center analysts will illustrate the many ways the newly developed Indianapolis Racial Equity Report Card can help make sense of various conditions and circumstances in Indianapolis. We will share findings from the 2024 IMPD Use of Force Report we developed in partnership with Faith in Indiana. We will compare those results to findings from the Indianapolis Racial Equity Report Card in hopes of identifying trends, themes, and solutions.

Join us for a provocative, data-driven community conversation that utilizes analysis from several data tools to better understand issues and trend impacting the intersection of community, policing, and racial equity.

A collaboration with the Indianapolis Public Library, WFYI Public Media, The Polis. And Bier Brewery, the event is free to attend - alcohol is only for those 21+.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the discussion will begin promptly at 6:15 p.m.. Parking is available in the Library's underground parking garage, which can be accessed via Pennsylvania St.
