School-aged children who are beginning or reluctant readers are invited to read to a non-judgmental registered therapy dog who loves to listen to stories - on the first Tuesday evening of each month! Spaces are limited, so please visit the Beech Grove Branch to register your young reader in person.
This in person program allows children to read to a registered therapy dog for 15 minute sessions.
This program is in partnership with Paws & Think, Inc.

The Beech Grove Public Library has served the City of Beech Grove since 1951 when it opened at a storefront location. Its current building, dating back to 1953, has undergone four renovations and additions, the most recent in 2019. In 2016, the library merged with The Indianapolis Public Library to become the Beech Grove Branch, IndyPL’s 23rd branch location.
