Join this Sisters in Crime panel discussion to hear from published short story writers about how and where they get their inspirations, how they write and edit their stories, and the outlets for publication they pursue. You'll also learn about resources available to help you become a better writer!
It's sometimes scary and often frustrating, but the process of writing is ultimately a rewarding experience. Seeing your story in print (or, these days, in bytes) is a writer's high. Diana Catt and the Speed City Sisters in Crime are here to help!
Learn more about the Meet an Author, Be an Author event that will take place on October 19 at Central Library. The day will include workshops, the Local Authors Book Fair, The Readings Café, and networking events throughout the day!
This workshop is being offered in partnership with the Speed City Chapter of Sisters in Crime. Speed City's chapter has been around for 20 years, and is the Indiana Chapter of the world-wide mystery/crime writers' association Sisters in Crime.
This event is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
