Mariposa de Jade will be exhibited from April 29th to May 27th at Central Library. The reception for this exhibition will take place on May 4th, 2025 from 1:30 - 4 p.m.
Mariposa de Jade (Jade Butterflies) is a group exhibition of women artists of Latina heritage. This group exhibition will connect the audience with diverse styles and influences. Each artist showcases their unique way to express themselves using their preferred medium.
This exhibition is curated by Gissela Montoya.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
