Ink and Quill is a writing circle that meets once a month in the Central Library Makerspace. We aim to provide participants with a space to grow creatively while holding one another accountable to our writing goals.
We will begin each session with a brief introduction to allow participants to get to know each other, followed by 45 minutes of independent writing time. The second half of the class will be tailored to your needs—you can ask for feedback on a work-in-progress, offer critique yourself, or continue independent writing. We hope to see you there!

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
