Decorate your fridge or any surface with your miniature creations!
Join Maker Crafts this May to make Shrinky Dink magnets! Shrinky dink paper magically gets tiny when you bake it in an oven. Attendees will spend the first 1.5 hours coloring and cutting out their designs, then we'll spend the last 30 minutes baking, shrinking, and making these works of art into magnets for your fridge or any surface at home!
All supplies will be provided, space is limited and registration is required. This workshop will take place in the Makerspace, which is on the 1st floor of Central Library.
As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
