Join Amy for chair-based yoga to practice your breathing techniques, and improve your heart rate, mental focus, and relaxation.
Chair yoga is a relaxation that also energizes body and mind by connecting breath to stretches and gentle movements. This activity improves posture, flexibility, balance, strength, and mind/body awareness. It helps to promote more steadiness and confidence in one’s body along with an overall sense of well-being and peace. We will have intermittent meditative music to accompany the class and close with a brief meditation.
*Chair yoga is also available with other instructors at Spades Park and Michigan Road. Find those sessions by clicking here.

This program is made possible by the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
A new library for the rapidly-expanding area of suburban Washington Township was made possible by the donation of a 2.56 acre lot from Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Eiteljorg in 1968. The Nora Branch opened in 1971 on North Guilford Avenue and was expanded to 18,500-square-feet in 1990.
