Join Fernando as you learn about all the different kinds of fibers that can be turned into paper - and then make your own paper. Participants will need to return a few days after the workshop to pick up their dried paper.
Get in the mood by exploring this list about Traditional Bookmaking or this one about Plantable Paper.
Fernando is bilingual in Spanish and English and welcomes participants fluent in English o Español.
This program is made possible by Danny & Debbie Dean and the Danny R. Dean Fund.
Paper making is a "wet" process. Fernando will take your created paper to dry and return the dried sheets for you to pick up at the library branch a few days later.

The InfoZone opened within The Children's Museum of Indianapolis in 2000 as a unique partnership to serve both museum visitors and neighborhood patrons. In 2009, the 3,000 square-foot facility relocated to Level 2 of the museum, as InfoZone continues its mission to serve as a productive laboratory for the two institutions of informal education.
