Movement: We’ll find ease and strength in the body through a series of gentle movements at a relaxed pace. This practice is suitable for a broad range of abilities and body types.
Meditation: Sitting in the quiet, returning to ease in the body and ease in the breathing. You are welcome to sit on the floor, in a chair, or lay down. There’s nothing to achieve or attain.
Sharing: At the end of practice, there is time to share reflections, feelings, and questions and hear what others have to share. It's ok to just listen, too.
This program is made possible by The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
Opened in 2021, this branch encompasses 24,000-square-feet and fills a service gap in the growing Perry Township community. Patrons will find a varied collection of materials at the branch, including materials in Spanish and children’s Burmese language materials to support the diverse community of immigrants who live on Indy’s south side.
Amenities include a community meeting room that can hold 203 guests, a fireplace, a marketplace, computer stations, a children's and teen zone, and an inviting outdoor patio space.
