Wednesday, March 25
All day
Children 3-6 are invited to a virtual Library visit! Join us from home to sing along, listen to a story, see new places, and meet amazing people. Did you know there are farms everywhere? Take a trip to visit Miss Annette’s farm in Broad Ripple. Plants and bees and ducks, oh my!
Reading Ready Time is a virtual library experience specifically designed to help children 3-6 years old get ready to read and connect with the Library. We hope this program will help them make a connection, building on their path to becoming lifelong learners. In this week's episode, we take a field trip to Broad Ripple to meet Miss Annette and tour her "farm" right in the heart of the city. Other Reading Ready Time episodes can be found on our YouTube channel.
Additional resources:
- Our catalog has several good book lists about farms. Try these variations on the sing-along favorite Old McDonald.
- Sing and dance with this collection of farm song videos.
- Experiment with a variety of open-ended art experiences using farm-related materials.

This is not a real library branch - this is the "location" for our events that occur online. Online events that take place on Zoom should all involve registration and a link will be emailed to participants. Other online events may occur on YouTube or Facebook, and will not require registration.
