Tech curious individuals of any skill level can explore the impact of the Internet with Werner Herzog's movie, "Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World" (2016). This documentary explores the promises and pitfalls of the digital age while reflecting on the existential impact of the Internet.
Selected scenes from the documentary will be screened, followed by a discussion over hot beverages. The full documentary is available to stream with your Library card via Kanopy. This program will be held in the Riley Meeting Rom on the 2nd Floor. As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
