This Web Dev Tuesday session for anyone who wants a friendly introduction to SQL will feature special guest Fatemeh Hajizadeh, Solution Architect at Lev and founding member of Women who Code Indy, who will discuss the basics of SQL. No database management experience is required to attend.
SQL is a special-purpose programming language designed for managing data in a relational database. Its uses include back-end web development, database administration, data analysis, along with many others. This program will be held in the Knall Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor. Code Café is made possible by the Friends of the Library through a gift to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
