As part of the Library's 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program, "Favorite Fiction: Rebooted," join others in a discussion of books on this year's adult summer reading list.
The Adult Summer Reading Program is all about celebrating stories that have been revived, reimagined and retold. For the recommended summer reading book list, go to www.indypl.org/srp2019. This program is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
Following years of volunteer-staffed service in an empty church building, a permanent library serving Franklin Township, the Wanamaker Branch, opened in 1969 on Southeastern Avenue. To meet the needs of a rapidly growing township, the branch was replaced in 2000 by the current 18,000-square-foot Franklin Road Branch.
