Adults are invited as Dr. Kris Heeter , a biologist at Indiana University and member of the Indiana Nut and Fruit Growers Association and North American Fruit Explorers, will share information on common and not-so-common native fruits and nuts of Indiana.
This program, sponsored by the Indiana Native Plant Society, will be an interactive presentation in a "show and tell" style with opportunities to taste some of the more unusual fruits and nuts.
A new library for the rapidly-expanding area of suburban Washington Township was made possible by the donation of a 2.56 acre lot from Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Eiteljorg in 1968. The Nora Branch opened in 1971 on North Guilford Avenue and was expanded to 18,500-square-feet in 1990.
