Adults and teens are invited for a demonstration and hands-on presentation for uses of local plants by Dr. Candace Carson, an integrative medicine practitioner who will assist participants in making their own jar of healing cream to take home.
Dr. Carson will discuss this ancient healing remedy that uses Wild Yarrow as well as other local plants and flowers. This program is presented in partnership with the Indiana Native Plant & Wildflower Society.
A new library for the rapidly-expanding area of suburban Washington Township was made possible by the donation of a 2.56 acre lot from Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Eiteljorg in 1968. The Nora Branch opened in 1971 on North Guilford Avenue and was expanded to 18,500-square-feet in 1990.
