Code_Cafe() Web Dev. Learn the Basics - Beginner Friendly Discussion Group

This is a study group that explores web development topics for beginners and works on building beginner-friendly projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This months theme is Code Pen Challenge - Dinosaurs.

This event is being held as an online meeting/webinar. You will be emailed login instructions approximately 24 hours before the event via Meetup.com.

All skill levels welcome. You will need a glitch.com account to participate in the collaborative coding challenges: https://glitch.com/ 

5:30 PM - 6 PM - Show and Tell - What are you building/learning?
Bring a project you are working on to share or chat about. If you don't have a project yet bring your current favorite website, book, YouTube channel to share.

6 PM - 7 PM - Create Together -
We will have two coding activities. A "watch and learn" demo for complete beginners and a "build together" for those seeking a challenge. You will get to choose which activity to join and we'll chat and code together. This session we will tackle codepen's dinosaur challenge (Note: we will write our code collaboratively in glitch.com not on CodePen).
