While many of us may live in dense towns or cities, we can still take the time to appreciate the earth. In this workshop, we will not only closely observe, but write about our environment.
Through deeply reflecting upon the plants, animals, and wildlife, we will be able to understand and develop our own relationships with nature. Most importantly, we will think about what it means to have a relationship with earth during these current times.
As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
