This program will explore the storage and collaboration features of Google Drive for Cloud Storage. Learn how to create a free account, how to open and access files, and how to weigh the advantages and risks of using the cloud.
This event is being held as an online meeting/webinar. You will be emailed login instructions approximately 24 hours before the event. This interactive program will be hosted on Zoom, so it is recommended that you be comfortable joining a Zoom meeting, using Zoom’s chat feature, and switching back and forth between the Zoom meeting window and your web browser to participate.
Google Drive is more than just cloud storage; it also allows you to create and edit documents and spreadsheets, send and receive files using Gmail, collaborate with others in real-time, and more for free.
This program will use materials from GCFGlobal.org. All GCFGlobal.org® content is available for free at edu.gcfglobal.org.

This is not a real library branch - this is the "location" for our events that occur online. Online events that take place on Zoom should all involve registration and a link will be emailed to participants. Other online events may occur on YouTube or Facebook, and will not require registration.
