Traditional indigenous singing and dancing from members of the contest-winning powwow drum group, Warpaint.
Lead singer Kaya Little Turtle and his relatives come from the Lumbee and Tuscarora Nations in North Carolina. Also featured is Stephanie Big Eagle, contemporary powwow dancer and handpoke tattoo artist based in Fountain Square. Stephanie is representing the Yankton Sioux people currently living in South Dakota and Nebraska. Giovanni Sanchez and his daughters will also be sharing contemporary powwow dances, representing the Nahuatl and Navajo Dine peoples.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
