Join us for a screening of findhelp films' short documentary, "Welcome Home" followed by an in-person conversation with the filmmakers and participants. The Film celebrates members of the Indianapolis immigrant community and their mission to help other immigrants and refugees.

Film Synopsis: Olanike, Sergio, and Fikiri settled in Indianapolis after leaving their home countries. After learning to navigate the myriad challenges of life in a new country, they’ve become dedicated to helping other immigrants and refugees maneuver the same hurdles through the Immigrant Welcome Center’s Natural Helpers program. This uniquely inspiring short documentary shines a light on the immigrant population in Indianapolis. From findhelp films, Welcome Home is streaming exclusively on Youtube.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
