Join Indianapolis Public Library’s Center for Black Literature & Culture Poet Laureate Januarie York to view three proposed concepts for the forthcoming Etheridge Knight Legends portrait mural. Hear from the artists who created them, as well as commentary from a panel of Knight experts.
This event is being held as an online meeting/webinar. You will be emailed login instructions approximately 24 hours before the event.
After the event, you can indicate your favorite concept and provide your comments online through March 19. The selected concept and final design for the mural will be announced April 19.
This project is in collaboration with the Indianapolis Public Library’s Center for Black Literature and Culture and the Indy Arts Council.
This is not a real library branch - this is the "location" for our events that occur online. Online events that take place on Zoom should all involve registration and a link will be emailed to participants. Other online events may occur on YouTube or Facebook, and will not require registration.
