Join the Center for Black Literature & Culture (CBLC) and the Center for Leadership in helping children build core competencies in literacy this summer! This event will be focused on 7th and 8th graders, and will concentrate on the book "Between the Lines" by Nikki Grimes.
The IMANI Book Club will be hosted on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. from June 21 to July 29 at the CBLC at Central Library. Registration is free!
Between the Lines by Nikki Grimes is available as a print book, and as a downloadable audiobook in The Library's collection.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
