The purpose of this session is to catch up on previous lessons, learn the basics of the mouse and keyboard, and ask specific questions.
East 38th Street Branch -
The purpose of this session is to catch up on previous lessons, learn the basics of the mouse and keyboard, and ask specific questions.
Join us at the East 38th St Library to participate in our Open Lab session. This session will not contain a formal lesson. Rather, students will have the opportunity to ask the teacher one-on-one questions about technology or previous lessons. Students who do not have questions but would still like to continue learning can use the Northstar Digital Literacy platform to continue their studies.
Additionally, students who wish to learn how to use a mouse and keyboard can attend these monthly sessions.

About the branch
The first library to serve the neighborhood opened in 1957 as the Emerson Branch. This frame house near East 38th Street and North Emerson Avenue soon became too small to meet the neighborhood's needs, leading to the construction of a 7,500-square-foot branch at the same location in 1962. The Emerson Branch closed its doors in 2003 when the current 16,000-square-foot library opened as the East Thirty-Eighth Street Branch.
