Here is your opportunity to learn some basics about watercolor with a fantastic instructor from the Indianapolis Art Center. Explore techniques, learn practical tips, and try your hand at a work to take home!
Have you touched watercolor since you had a set of Prang in grade school? Maybe you've been secretly wanting to learn, but are not sure where to begin? These classes are being offered in partnership with the Indianapolis Art Center. Supplies will be provided and participants will leave with their own work, and some skills and plans to continue learning on their own.

The longest continuously-operating branch in the IndyPL system began on the city’s east side in 1896 but moved to the village of Haughville after 1897. The branch’s many homes included the former town hall on Germania Avenue in which a fire in 1904 partially destroyed the building. After the fire, a storefront in the Michigan Plaza Shopping Center was constructed that operated until 2003, when the current 12,000-square-foot library opened on West Michigan Street.
