Older adults seeking to become confident using the internet to effectively accomplish their goals are invited to attend a 4-week academy. Explore topics including managing privacy and spotting online scams/phishing, while building skills necessary to use the internet and manage emails.
All ages are welcome to attend but the material for Senior Tech Academy has been designed for adults age 50+.
Senior Tech Academy meets weekly and includes additional self-paced learning activities to be completed outside of class using Northstar Online Learning. The total weekly time commitment varies based on the students skill-level.
If you successfully complete this Senior Tech Academy - you should be prepared to attain a certificate from Northstar Digital Literacy in Internet Basics, Email Basics, and/or Your Digital Footprint.
