Adults are invited to a three-part diabetes education series instructed by the Marion County Public Health Department. Topics include eating healthier, increasing activity, taking medications, and preventing complications. Attendees should plan to attend all three sessions.
The ABCs of Diabetes program is accredited by the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialist. This three-part series includes instruction on medications, nutrition, exercise, monitoring, complications and available community resources. This program is free and open to anyone with diabetes, pre-diabetes, family members and friends.
