Do you want to build your technology skills? Take a skill assessment to develop a custom learning plan for 10+ topics including Microsoft Office, Computer Basics, Internet Basics, and more. Use your results to focus on learning the computer skills you need to be successful and meet your goals.
In this session you will be able to choose from 10+ assessments from Northstar Digital Literacy that will help you identify what computer skills you should learn next. A Tech Learning Specialist will be on hand to help you develop a custom learning plan based on your assessment results so that you can expand your digital skill set. Resources and online lessons will be available to develop those skills. Assessment topics are provided by Northstar Digital Literacy and include: Basic Computer Skills, Internet Basics, Using Email, Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Docs, Information Literacy, Career Search Skills, and Your Digital Footprint.

Built with funds from a $120,000 grant by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation, the East Washington Branch opened in 1911, six months before the opening of the city’s other remaining Carnegie Library, the Spades Park Branch. In 2017, a major renovation was completed to modernize the century-old building which is included in the National Register of Historic Places.
