A day all about reading and writing! Meet local authors at the book fair and purchase books from them, listen in to readings from the authors, attend workshops, network with other writers and related organizations, and leave inspired!
Check out the Local Author Book Fair, featuring dozens of recently-published writers and their works from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.!
Beginning at 12 p.m. attend workshops about writing, publishing, and more, including:
12-1 p.m.
1:30-2:30 p.m.
3-4 p.m.
Chat with the Indiana Writers Center, Midwest Writers Workshop, the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library, the Venturous Guild of Visionary Storysmiths, and others in the writing and book world. You can also network with other readers and writers throughout the day!

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
