Join Amy for chair-based yoga especially designed for caregivers to practice your breathing techniques, and improve your heart rate, mental focus, and relaxation. Chair yoga is a relaxation that also energizes body and mind by connecting breath to stretches and gentle movements. This activity improves posture, flexibility, balance, strength, and mind/body awareness. It helps to promote more steadiness and confidence in one’s body along with an overall sense of well-being and peace.
Caregivers are encouraged to bring their care receivers along to enjoy the Connection Cafe down the hall. Modeled after Memory Cafes, this is a safe space for adults of varying abilities. Learn more at Connection Cafe.
