If you’ve ever dreamed of making a podcast, narrating audiobooks, or recording your band, join us for a beginner’s guide to Adobe Audition. Considered an industry standard Digital Audio Workstation, Adobe Audition lets you take the first steps toward bringing your audio projects to life. Learn the basics of editing waveforms with cuts and effects, microphone techniques, and exporting your files for easy distribution. Get started with the Tech Learning Team and explore the fundamentals of audio editing in a hands-on, beginner-friendly class.
This class requires an Adobe ID, create a free account prior to class at https://account.adobe.com. You will need access to the phone number or email associated with your Adobe ID account during class to complete a Two-Factor Authentication process.
After class, work on your projects at our Digital Creativity workstations at: Eagle Branch, East 38th Street, or Fort Ben Branch — or visit the Pike Branch to record in the fully equipped Podcast Room!

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
