🎬 Join CBLC as We Celebrate Black History Month 🎬
with a special movie premiere screening of Selma: Lord, Selma

This Black History Month, CBLC invites you to join us for a powerful and meaningful movie premiere that honors Black history, resilience, and the ongoing fight for justice. Together, we will gather to reflect, learn, and connect through the film Selma: Lord, Selma, a story that centers the voices and experiences of Black families during a pivotal moment in history.

🍿 Movie Summary:
Selma: Lord, Selma tells the story of Sheyann Webb, a young Black girl living in Selma, Alabama, during the Civil Rights Movement. Through her eyes, the film captures the courage, faith, and determination of everyday people who stood up against injustice and helped change the course of history. As Sheyann witnesses the historic voting rights marches led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders, she learns the power of standing firm, speaking up, and believing that even young voices can make a difference.

✨ This Black History Month movie premiere creates space for:

Honoring the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement
Engaging youth and families in meaningful dialogue
Celebrating Black strength, faith, and community
Reflecting on how history continues to shape our present and future

🎥 We hope you’ll join us for this unforgettable movie premiere experience!
