Storytelling Drawing Sessions give artists a chance to engage in the stories of long-term residents of Indianapolis. While community members share their stories, artists listen and reflect as they hone their skills. Artists of all skill levels and mediums are welcome to participate.
Everyone has a story to tell. Join Greatriarchs featured in the Polklore Micro-Museum. This session will take place at the Polklore Micro-Museum at 1533 Lewis St, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Create while being inspired by neighborhood history and fantastic people!
Storytelling Drawing Sessions use long-term residents as models to get to know their stories. Artists are welcome to create in whatever medium they prefer (ink, writing, crocheting, painting), and are encouraged to bring their own supplies - but a limited amount of supplies will be available at the library.
