We will be discussing anime at this meeting of the Popular Media Discussion Group. We will be meeting at Macizo Restaurant, located at 6335 Intech Commons Dr., Suites C/D, Indianapolis, IN 46278.

Popular Media: Anime!

Anime: (noun) a style of animation originating in Japan that is characterized by stark, colorful graphics depicting vibrant characters in action-filled plots, often with fantastic or futuristic themes.

Bring an example of your favorite anime with you to this meeting! Any anime that suits your fancy, share with the group! Make sure it is the BEST anime (in your opinion) that you've had the pleasure of spending time on. This could be a recent favorite or one that has stuck with you over the years. Whether it's a movie or a series, as long as it's anime, it's an acceptable submission.

Our next meeting will focus on manga! We decided to split this topic into two meetings due to increased patron interest and participation.

If you cannot bring the physical item with you, a picture or other verbal/visual example is acceptable.
