Adults are invited to join Lynne Habig for an introduction to the art of Calligraphy. We'll cover a brief history of Calligraphy and learn the basics of using a fountain pen to create Italic letterforms. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the fundamental pen strokes.
A new library for the rapidly-expanding area of suburban Washington Township was made possible by the donation of a 2.56 acre lot from Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Eiteljorg in 1968. The Nora Branch opened in 1971 on North Guilford Avenue and was expanded to 18,500-square-feet in 1990.
