Join us online via Zoom to learn about the earliest records of Latinos in Indianapolis and the research behind the upcoming Encyclopedia of Indianapolis feature on the city's Latiné population.
Expanding Our Story—The earliest records of Latinos in Indianapolis date to the late 19th Century. It is one of our city's largest, growing, and most diverse populations. This online program will briefly explore the challenges of research, the newly expanded city history, and the data-driven tools accompanying an upcoming Encyclopedia of Indianapolis feature, which will launch by the end of 2026. Registration is required.

Reading List: Explores Indianapolis Hispanic and Latino history. The collection features both nonfiction and fiction titles.
This online lecture is part of the Expanding Our Story programs, made possible by a grant from The Clowes Fund, hosted on Zoom by the Indianapolis Special Collections Room (ISCR).
