A new documentary adaptation of How Not to Die, based on the influential book by physician and New York Times bestselling author Dr. Michael Greger, has been released. The film explores the scientific evidence behind nutrition and lifestyle approaches to preventing and reversing many of the leading causes of premature death, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, and hypertension. First published in 2015, How Not to Die synthesizes thousands of peer-reviewed studies to demonstrate how a whole-food, plant-based dietary pattern can play a central role in chronic disease prevention and longevity.
