Join us for a screening of the new documentary How Not to Die followed by an expert panel discussion moderated by the Indiana Lifestyle Medicine Network. The film celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the book How Not to Die and the life and work of the author, Dr. Michael Greger, M.D.

A new documentary adaptation of How Not to Die, based on the influential book by physician and New York Times bestselling author Dr. Michael Greger, has been released. The film explores the scientific evidence behind nutrition and lifestyle approaches to preventing and reversing many of the leading causes of premature death, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, and hypertension. First published in 2015, How Not to Die synthesizes thousands of peer-reviewed studies to demonstrate how a whole-food, plant-based dietary pattern can play a central role in chronic disease prevention and longevity. Dr. Greger, founder of NutritionFacts.org, is widely recognized for translating complex nutrition science into accessible, evidence-based public education. All proceeds from his work support independent nutrition research and education.
