Don't know where to start with meal planning? Come learn from the Marion County Public Health Department's Nutrition Services about time-saving strategies and how to create balanced, practical meals for the week that support your health, lifestyle, and nutrition goals!

The Marion County Public Health Nutrition Services is bringing 2 topics to the library this fall. This one (Meal planning), and Fiber Maxxing. Check out both at a branch near you!
Use these lists to get prepped for prepping!
- Meal Prep - explore the weekly meal prep trend with this list from Kathy
- Cooking for Beginners - Angie's list is a great jumping off point if you're not sure where to start (or even if you might know - it's still great)!
This program is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
West Indianapolis Branch
The first West Indianapolis Branch opened in 1897, following the annexation of West Indianapolis into the city of Indianapolis. A new building on West Morris Street, constructed with funds from a $120,000 grant by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation, opened in 1912 and served the community until 1986, when the current 5,000-square-foot branch began service on South Kappes Street.
