Explore SQL, a coding language for retrieving information stored in databases. Solve a SQL-based puzzle - the SQL Murder Mystery - and learn basic commands along the way. Made possible by Lacy Foundation through a grant to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
This program will be held in the Computer Lab on the 1st Floor of Central Library. No coding experience is necessary but participants should feel comfortable using a mouse, keyboard, and web browser. A computer will be provided for use during the program.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
