Presented by the Japan-America Society of Indiana, Ms. Minori Abel will teach a short lesson about the history, the tools, and the traditions of the Japanese tea ceremony. Participants will decorate their own styrofoam tea bowls, whisk their own matcha green tea, and enjoy Japanese sweets.
A new library for the rapidly-expanding area of suburban Washington Township was made possible by the donation of a 2.56 acre lot from Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Eiteljorg in 1968. The Nora Branch opened in 1971 on North Guilford Avenue and was expanded to 18,500-square-feet in 1990.
