Join this Sisters in Crime presentation to hear from published short story writers about how and where they get their inspirations, how they write and edit their stories, and the outlets for publication they pursue.

It's sometimes scary and often frustrating, but the process of writing is ultimately a rewarding experience. Seeing your story in print (or, these days, in bytes) is a writer's high. Join this Sisters in Crime presentation to hear from published short story writers about how and where they get their inspirations, how they write and edit their stories, and the outlets for publication they pursue. You'll also learn about resources available to help you become a better writer!

About the branch

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
