Do you have seeds you would like to share? Perhaps you've got an abundance of houseplants that won't fit back into your house? Maybe you've discovered extra hand tools or other garden-y items as you start tidying. Join in this swap with other gardeners!
It is not required that you bring anything - if we have learned anything it is that other gardeners will bring an abundance!
Tiny envelopes, labels, info trackers, and markers will be available for seeds, and rooting hormone, containers for plant cuttings, bags, and more for safely getting houseplants and pieces back to your home.
The library cannot guarantee quality of seeds, plants or tools. We kindly ask that you take any un-swapped items back home afterward.
Registration is not required, but can help with planning.

The Southport Branch began in 1967 as a small storefront in the Madison Square Shopping Center. Following acquisition of a site for a larger facility, the new 15,700-square-foot library opened in 1974 on East Stop 11 Road. Even before the move occurred, a group of Perry Township residents demonstrated support by raising more than $5,000 to provide additional books for the new library.
