Help us commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States by adding your contribution to a collaborative art project. Each project invites reflection on civic life and the shared American experience.
Join us for a hands-on community activity with artist Vanessa Monfreda. Participants will contribute to pages of a collaborative collage book in honor of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to contribute material (photos, magazines, personal records, etc.) to explore themes like community, freedom and their American experience. The finished art book will be exhibited and included in the library’s permanent collection. (Note that donated material will not be returned.)

About the branch
Following years of volunteer-staffed service in an empty church building, a permanent library serving Franklin Township, the Wanamaker Branch, opened in 1969 on Southeastern Avenue. To meet the needs of a rapidly growing township, the branch was replaced in 2000 by the current 18,000-square-foot Franklin Road Branch.
