Take part in an Elder Show & Tell, a creative aging program led by Indiana University folklorist Jon Kay. This interactive gathering celebrates the everyday knowledge, skills, and creativity of older adults. Bring something meaningful you have created to share and join in conversation!
This workshop will happen in collaboration with Connection Cafe. Come share or just hear about people's creative pursuits.
Participants are invited to bring something meaningful to share like a craft, song, poem, family recipe, photograph, tool, or story and share with others — sparking conversation, connection, and mutual appreciation. No professional experience required.

The Beech Grove Public Library has served the City of Beech Grove since 1951 when it opened at a storefront location. Its current building, dating back to 1953, has undergone four renovations and additions, the most recent in 2019. In 2016, the library merged with The Indianapolis Public Library to become the Beech Grove Branch, IndyPL’s 23rd branch location.
