Join us for an opening reception for the Universal Drip 2 Exhibit presented by Omar Rashan and We Are Indy Arts in the Center for Black Literature & Culture. The exhibit is available for viewing at Central Library between August 9 - September 9, 2023.
The opening reception will consist of free time to explore the exhibit and a small ceremony to introduce the artists and celebrate their work.
The Universal Drip 2 Exhibit will feature prominent creatives Omar Rashan + Gary Gee + Kenneth Hordge. Enriched with limitless eccentricity, each artist will deliver cosmic energy with an assortment of color, form and style activating your endorphins for an enhanced experience. The Universal Drip 2 Exhibit hopes to be a curative engagement with satisfying blends of extraordinary artistry.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
