Children 3-6 are invited to a virtual Library visit! Join us from home to sing along, listen to a story, see new places, and meet amazing people. Join Professor Watermelon for a fun-filled story time all about wheels.
Reading Ready Time is a virtual library experience specifically designed to help children 3-6 years old get ready to read and connect with the Library. We hope this program will help them make a connection, building on their path to becoming lifelong learners. In this week's episode, Wheels with Professor Watermelon shares stories and songs all about wheels! Young children are natural scientists, investigating and testing hypotheses constantly as they play. By the end of Kindergarten, children should be able to “identify and explain possible uses for an object based on its properties and compare these uses with other students’ ideas.” (Indiana Standards, K.1.2). Play is the scientific method in action! Be sure to give your children ample opportunity to explore and play with forces and motion. Other Reading Ready Time episodes can be found on our YouTube channel.

This is not a real library branch - this is the "location" for our events that occur online. Online events that take place on Zoom should all involve registration and a link will be emailed to participants. Other online events may occur on YouTube or Facebook, and will not require registration.
