Northstar Digital Literacy is a video-based learning platform that provides self-directed lessons on many digital literacy topics. The sessions at the library can help you establish your account and provide guidance towards your learning path through the Northstar curriculum. You may take an assessment to evaluate your skill level or choose from a variety of practice lessons in each topic.
Proctored Assessments are available during these library sessions. Taking a proctored exam with a passing score will allow you to earn a certificate showing your completion of each topic.
Topics provided by Northstar Digital Literacy include: Basic Computer Skills, Internet Basics, Using Email, Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Docs, Information Literacy, Career Search Skills, and more!
All videos include closed captions for accessibility. We may also be able to offer translations and captions in several different languages. Headphones are recommended for an enhanced learning experience but are not required.
**Lecciones de práctica y evaluaciones están disponibles en inglés y español.
