Crafter Hours Late Night Crafting at Martindale-Brightwood
Tuesday, June 30
6:00pm - 7:30pm
During this late-night drop-in craft session, adult and senior patrons are welcome to learn a new skill, get help with current projects, or just stop by for some creative craft time.
Destress after a day at work with Crafter Hours, a late-night drop-in craft session. Patrons are more than welcome to help themselves to our yarn, jewelry making supplies, paper, sewing machine and Cricut machine. We are trying something new! Each month we will focus on a specific craft so stop by to do a craft with us or BYOC (bring your own craft/current project) and hang out with other crafty folks. Stop by the branch or give us a ring to see which specific craft is happening each month. Stay for a while or just a bit, Crafter Hours will take place in our Community Room, on the last Tuesday of every month, from 6-7:30 p.m. Registration is not required.

Martindale-Brightwood Branch
The Brightwood Branch opened in 1901 as the sixth public library in Indianapolis. It served the Brightwood community at several locations along Station Street, one street west of its current North Sherman Avenue storefront site which opened in 1972. A 1996 renovation at this location doubled the size of the branch to 5,400 square feet. In 2020, a brand-new branch building, across the street from the previous branch, was completed and re-named as the Martindale-Brightwood Branch.
